GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
When you make a booking, your contract (which shall include these terms and conditions) will be with Hammonds Park.
By confirming a booking you are accepting our terms and conditions on behalf of all members of your party and accept responsibility to settle all outstanding balances. To make a reservation you must be 18 years old or over.
Under the Hotel Proprietors Act persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Rates include VAT at the prevailing rate when your booking was made and may be subject to change without notice.
You will be asked to guarantee your booking with a valid debit/credit card at the time of booking to pay for the deposit.
In the event that a property of Hammonds Park is deliberately or negligently damaged by you or any member of your party or extra cleaning is required you will be fully liable for any cost involved for the repair or replacement of the property in question.
Hammonds Park shall accept no liability in the event that the personal belongings of guests are lost or damaged within the guest house or it’s grounds.
Deposit & Cancellation
We reserve the right to pre-authorise your card for the full amount before arrival, any un-authorised cards we will ask you to supply alternative card details, we cannot confirm any bookings without a valid debit or credit card.
Deposit for the first night will be taken at anytime after a booking is made.
Deposits are non refundable after 24 hours from when the booking was made. different booking agents may have different policies.
In the event of cancellations or no shows 100% of the deposit will be forfeit.
We do not have an on-site restaurant.
Prices are subject to availability and are inclusive of VAT at the current prevailing rate. Your price is guaranteed once you have made a booking.
For the avoidance of doubt, your price does not include any incidental charges which you may incur during your stay. Such charges will be payable by you on departure and, in the event that you fail to pay any such incidental charges, it is a condition of your contract with Hammonds Park that you irrevocably authorise the guest house to debit your credit or debit card (see 'Deposits and Prepayments' below) for the amount of any shortfall.
During major sporting events, social events, conference and exhibitions certain rates may not be available. Certain dates may be subject to a minimum length of stay. All rates are subject to availability and may incur a supplement for single occupancy.
Children are welcomed throughout the guest house, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
We do not supply any baby cot or crib facilities however guests are welcome to bring their own.
GUESTS WITH IMPAIRED MOBILITY
Guests with impaired mobility or other particular requirements should check with us in advance that their requirements can be met. Please call the guest direct for details.
Pets are not permitted in the guest house with the exception of guide dogs for the blind/hard of hearing and personal support dogs for guests with special medical conditions. ID tag required as proof.
There are parking spaces available free of charge when booked direct.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in is between 15:00 and 20:00, check-out is at 10:00. If a later check-in is required please contact the guest house.
In the event of an early checkout the guest owes the cost of the total nights stayed plus one nights' cost. Online booking agents' policies may differ.
Price of booking can change if dates are changed in advance.
An amendment fee of the deposit amount can be charged if the original check-in date is moved back if amendment is made within 48 hours prior to original check-in date.
All details are correct at time of going to print, however may be subject to change from time to time.
Hammonds Park shall not be responsible for any loss or damage which you may suffer arising out of events beyond its control or the control of its suppliers (including, without limitation, fire, failure of electrical, gas or other power supplies, strikes, industrial action, terrorist activity, technical problems with transport, illness of entertainers and bad weather), nor for any curtailment, cancellation or change to any accommodation, activity or itinerary or any other consequences which arise as a result of such events.
For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms and conditions shall operate to attempt to exclude or limit Hammonds Park liability for the death or personal injury of any person caused by the negligence of Hammonds Park or its employees, servants or agents or to attempt to exclude or limit Hammonds Park liability in any manner which would be unlawful.
These terms and conditions shall be subject to UK law.
